The Hollywood couple, who have three daughters and own a lakefront estate in Palm Beach, had appeared in court in August.
The divorce case between Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin has been put on hold in favor of a reconciliation.
A little more than a month after Flavin started the divorce process, on September 23, an order for abatement was filed in the Palm Beach County Circuit Court, according to court documents obtained by the Palm Beach (Florida) Post, a member of the USA TODAY Network. She described the couple's 25-year marriage at the time as "irretrievably broken."
According to images shared by People and Entertainment Tonight, Stallone and Flavine were seen strolling arm in arm in New York City on Thursday. A month after Flavin filed for divorce and two weeks after they declared they were calling it quits, the now-reconciled couple made an appearance in public.
People said that Flavin and Stallone were both donning their wedding bands. In a picture published by Entertainment Tonight, Flavin can be seen kissing Stallone on the cheek.
In an interview with USA TODAY in August, Stallone's agent Michelle Bega claimed: "I love my family, said the Rocky actor. These personal concerns are being resolved amicably and in private."
In a court document, it was said that the parties "agree that it is in the best interests of each of them individually, and more significantly, collectively as a family, to address all matters attendant to the dissolution of their marriage in a dignified, peaceful and private manner out-of-court."
Circuit Judge Darren Shull decided to put a stop to the divorce procedures, with both parties having the right to revive them if they are unable to come to an agreement.
Flavin claimed in her initial divorce suit that Stallone had wasted marital property on purpose, a claim the star refuted.
According to the letter, Flavin asked to "be made whole and rewarded by receiving an unequal division of the marital assets in her favor." Records show that Flavin also requested exclusive use of the Palm Beach mansion, which the couple purchased in December 2020, throughout the ongoing divorce procedures.
Having wed in May 1997 in London, Stallone, 76, and Flavin, 54, have three daughters: Sophia, 25, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.
The 25th anniversary of Stallone and Flavin was commemorated in May.
The "Creed" actor wished his lovely wife a "happy 25th anniversary." "I want this incredible woman could live another 25 years because there are simply not enough words to express how much she has meant to our lives. I'm grateful, honey."
Flavin also acknowledged the accomplishment, but her message was later taken down. "We wish you a happy 25th wedding anniversary! I'm grateful to you for keeping me happy, for loving and guarding our wonderful family "People reported that the former model wrote at the time.
