‘Sister Wives’: Christine Brown’s Moving Date Nears, Kody’s In Denial Kody Brown is an American reality television personality, best known as the central subject of the TLC reality television series Sister Wives and its spin-off series Sister Wives.
Kody Brown and his wives are one of the most famous polygamous families in the world, but they're no longer together.
On the Sister Wives show from October 16, Kody Brown and Christine Brown had another conversation. This time, they talked about when the best moment was to notify Truely Brown, their youngest child, about their separation and Christine's choice to relocate from Arizona to Utah.
According to Christine, "I really want Kody and I to tell Truely together because I want her to view us still as a team." She has friends whose parents have divorced, and it has been quite ugly and contentious. I don't want her to assume that her own divorce will be similar.
However, Christine had already made up her choice when she announced her separation from Kody on Instagram in November 2021. She told Kody that she had already begun to gradually pack up her residence. She was accused of "rushing" the move by Kody. He said, "It feels hostile to me."
"I think she did this intentionally to hurt me. She had plenty of opportunity to begin discussing our relationship with me long ago, but she chose not to. She then hands it to me abruptly, and it seems hurried. Since she first told me she intended to leave, she has been prepared to leave.
Christine, though, argued that the reality had been completely different. She insisted, "For you, maybe, it's been a rush, but for me, it hasn't been a rush." I've been moving quite slowly for you, for me. Sincerely, I would have moved this summer if I had told Truely months ago. Christine ultimately decided to keep the information from Truely for the time being in order to avoid upsetting Kody. We must work together to progress forward as a team, she said, therefore she wanted to play nicely and fairly.

In the meantime, Kody charged Christine with turning their children against him in a confessional. I want to have a relationship with my kids, especially the young and weak ones, he remarked. It almost seems like this is following a story.
Well, dad's never here anyhow, she says, setting Truely up. She is guiding Truely in that direction. Christine needs an explanation for her absence, and I have the impression that she has been planning this for a very long time in order to explain it to her kids.
Unfortunately, shortly after the conversation, Truely unintentionally overheard Christine and her daughter Mykelti on the phone discussing relocating. Christine was forced to explain the situation to Truely at that point. The conversation wasn't recorded because it was so private, but Christine filled viewers in on the specifics later.
Christine remembered, "Her little face was so devastated." She asks, "Are you and Dad divorcing?" I could have responded, "Yeah, we're going to be getting divorced," which would have caused Kody to watch us frantically every time she came over, worry about us, and wonder if we would ever reconcile. We are already divorced, I informed her.
