When it came to their search of happiness, the path wasn't always very easy.
During the most recent episode of Red Table Talk, Jada Pinkett-Smith discussed the now-unbreakable relationship she had with Will Smith's ex-wife Sheree Zampino. (After three years of marriage, Sheree and Will, who are the parents of Trey, 29, divorced in 1995; Jada and Will eventually got married.)
Jada noted on the show from October 19 that "we have formed a really nice sisterhood." However, "along the way, it wasn't always easy," the speaker continued, "and occasionally, we did have to fake it to make it."
The idea of combining families without a "blueprint" had its complications, as observed by Jada, who has two children with Will: Jaden, 24, and Willow, 21.

Jada claimed that for her, it was all about maturity. "disregard for the dynamics of marriage. It's like saying, "Okay, if divorce papers are received and people are over it, then this is done." Oh, yeah. It's been done before... Thus, the idea that this woman is a member of this family was my worst misunderstanding."
The Set it Off star acknowledged that, looking back, she now knows that she overstepped several boundaries early on in their relationship, including a time when she tried to talk to Sheree about Trey's actions. Jada admitted, "I can think of few instances where I truly went over the limit. It became somewhat messy because there was so much entwining.
For now, however, Sheree has extended Jada some grace. You didn't mean any harm, Sheree said, "but it was out of line." Listen, we've got to fix him, you were saying.
